My name is Arlene but I am affectionately known as Mamzelle by my friends,  I retired from a career with the Railroad after 25 years and journeyed across the country to settle in the Sonoran High Desert.  As a stained glass hobbyist for over 10 years, I settled into the desert lifestyle and have been inspired by the colorful sunrises, sunsets and the deep spirituality of the desert and her people to create many unique pieces of art.

I am dedicated to providing the highest quality service and products for anyone interested in the beautiful art of stained glass.  Whether you commission me to create a design for your home or business or you are a hobbyist in need of supplies and guidance, I am here to help you.

Mamzelle du M’s Stained Glass Studio is located on the East side of Tucson and offers classes where the art of stained glass and mosaics is taught in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere.

OMG Arlene……your story about your new found sister is wonderful, I absolutely loved it and when time permits, I’m going to go read the other stuff, I didnt know you started this. You are truly doubly blessed with talent in creating your mosaics and stained glass and your writing….you are very very talented.
I loved the mosaic on the back ‘fence’ …to even think of that was amazing and it looks absolutely beautiful but I agree, for making the fence prettier, the HOA may charge you, but I know you will get jobs from that.
I am so happy you found a sister in an ex wife………….how odd yet terrific is that.
I actually was just thinking of you tonight and then found all this creative stuff waiting to be enjoyed……………………….No matter where you go Arlene,, you will find people and passion in your work. And how ’bout those two cowboys,, thats pretty exciting to come across really cowpokes!!!!…… Don’t listen to everything you mom said,,, nice girls surely can go to bars, just don’t leave with strange men ;-).
Will look forward to writing to you again after I read your other blogs…..

Hi, I was wondering if I could purchase one of your mosaic creations…? I particularly love Starry Night and Ella’s crimson flower mosaic… are they made of ceramic tile?
